INFORMATION NOTE FOR EMPLOYEE CANDIDATES ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

As Unilever Sanayi ve Ticaret Türk A.Ş. and Besan Besin Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. ("Unilever" or "Company"), we process some of your personal data in order to evaluate your job application and manage recruitment processes as a data controller within the scope of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data. For the avoidance of any doubt, when you apply for a position with one of the above companies, that company will process your personal data as the data controller.

We have prepared this Information Note on the Protection of Personal Data ("Information Note") in order to inform you about the processing processes of your personal data. Under all circumstances, we process your personal data that you transmit to us for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes in accordance with the law and good faith, in an accurate and up-to-date form, in connection with the purpose of processing, in a limited and measured manner.

This Information Note may be updated by Unilever at any time and the changes made may be announced to you through various channels (e.g. online career platform, e-mail, etc.).

Within the scope of the evaluation of your job application by Unilever, your identity information (name, surname, gender information), contact information (telephone number and e-mail address), professional experience information (previous workplace, location of the workplace, your position, the duration of your work), information about your educational background, information regarding your driving licence, your visual records (photographs) and other personal data that you transmit to us in your CV or otherwise within the scope of your application, and your sensitive personal data, if you provide us with such data, are processed in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("Law"). The aforementioned personal data will be recorded, stored, preserved, reorganised, shared with the institutions legally authorized to request this personal data, transferred to domestic or foreign third parties under the conditions stipulated by the Law and other laws, transferred, classified and processed in other ways listed in the Law within the framework of the purposes that require their processing and specified in this document.

Personal data of the candidates are processed in accordance with the basic principles stipulated in the Law, in order to evaluate the suitability of the candidate for the position applied and the Company policies and to manage the recruitment processes, on the grounds that data processing is necessary for the exercise of a right. In addition, if it is necessary for the fulfilment of our legal obligations, we may also process personal data of the candidates for the reasons stipulated by law.

Personal data of the candidates are collected electronically through career platforms belonging to the Company or third parties from which the Company receives services, and if there is an interview process, personal data are collected electronically or physically during the interview process.

Your personal data are transferred by the Company to the following persons, if necessary for the above-mentioned purposes:

a. The Company's consultants, service providers, government agencies or any other person that we deem reasonably necessary for the above-mentioned data processing purposes,

b. Direct/indirect domestic/international shareholders, subsidiaries and/or affiliates of the Company.

Some of the above-mentioned recipients may be located in a foreign country and your data may be transferred to our Company's servers located abroad; in this context, your personal data may be transferred abroad.

The Company is obliged to take all kinds of technical and administrative measures to ensure the appropriate level of security while carrying out data processing activities for the following purposes

a. to prevent unlawful processing of personal data,

b. prevent unlawful access to personal data,

c. ensure the preservation of personal data

We take all necessary technical and administrative security measures to ensure that all recipients to whom your personal data listed above are transferred provide an adequate level of protection.

It is important that your personal data is accurate and up-to-date.

To the extent that the Company processes your data in the capacity of data controller, you have the following rights in terms of your personal data:

a. to learn whether any of your personal data is being processed

b. to request information regarding the processing activities of your personal data;

c. to learn the purposes of processing your personal data;

d. To know the third parties to whom personal data are communicated in the country or abroad

e. to request rectification of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing;

f. to request the deletion or destruction of personal data in case the reasons requiring the processing of personal data disappear;

g. To request the Company to notify the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred of the transactions made in accordance with subparagraphs (e) and (f) above;

h. object to any unfavourable consequences that may arise as a result of the processing of personal data through automated systems and

i. to request compensation for damages in case you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data.
